Water-cooled air conditioning uses water to help reject heat from a refrigeration system. Direct evaporative cooling passes air through wet media. These are different processes: ask which air and water circuits a proposed unit uses before comparing performance.

Does it add moisture to the workshop?
A direct evaporative cooler adds moisture to its supply air. A refrigeration system with a separate water-side heat rejection circuit works differently. Confirm whether the proposed model recirculates indoor air, supplies outdoor air and provides dehumidification under your required conditions.

What matters in Southeast Asia?
For a humid factory, include outdoor humidity, indoor moisture sources, open doors and the target indoor condition in the selection brief. Do not use a dry-climate demonstration as evidence of performance at your site.

What should a quotation identify?
Request the exact model, cooling capacity at stated test conditions, total electrical input, airflow, refrigerant, water requirements and installation drawing. Compare these with the model tables rather than relying on a broad product category name.
