Select industrial air conditioning using the required heat removal rate, indoor temperature and humidity targets, airflow distribution and site utilities. A catalogue coverage area is a preliminary reference, not a substitute for a heat-load calculation.

1. Prepare the design brief
Provide the project city, floor area, ceiling height, roof and wall construction, door-opening pattern, shift schedule and target indoor conditions. Add the number of occupants and a list of heat-producing equipment with its operating schedule.

2. Request a site-specific load calculation
Ask the designer to account for the building envelope, people, machinery, outdoor air and moisture. Avoid applying a single watts-per-square-metre rule to every workshop. Check that equipment heat already removed by process extraction is not counted twice.

3. Compare models using the same units
Use rated cooling capacity and input power in kW, airflow in m³/h and the actual voltage, phase and frequency. Do not select from an HP label alone. Confirm performance at the conditions used for your project.

4. Confirm export and installation details
Share the destination country and site supply for projects in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines or Singapore. Confirm compatibility in writing; a model listed at 50 Hz should not be assumed suitable for a different frequency. Ask for the applicable product documents, packing details and commissioning scope.
